North Nodaway students study Native Americans

Students in Becky Ferris’ North Nodaway fourth grade classroom pose inside their classroom teepee. The students have been learning about Native American tribes including the Pueblo, Creek, Lakota and Iroquois. They studied how the tribes lived, their different types of housing, the types of food they ate, special customs and other parts of their cultures.
