This is the first in a series on “doing good” this holiday season.
Twinkling white lights, sprinkled about by snowflakes, snowmen and snow globes to spare, adorn the traditionally decorated Christmas Room in the Thrift Shoppe in downtown Maryville. There’s bells and bows and gift bags galore, with hustling and bustling of customers shopping, rustling their way through the small, wooden door. An essence of pine or peppermint or pumpkin drifts up and around through the cold, winter air.
