Emily Mattson, daughter of Stacey and Gary Mattson, received the Gordon Monk Scholarship of $1,000 from the Maryville Pride Lions Club. Mattson, a 2016 Jefferson High School graduate, plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University and major in ag business. At the presentation on July 25, were in front: Mattson; behind her, scholarship committee members, Jeanine Montgomery, Lewis Rice, Tony Olson, Jonathan Scott, and David Primm.
